Etymology 1

Template:Root From Template:Inh, from Template:Der (compare Template:Cog, Template:M), from Template:Der, from Template:Der, from Template:Der, plural of Template:M. The sense of "angle, corner" in Old French is not found in Latin or other Romance languages. It was possibly calqued from Template:Cog, which is similar to, and derived from Template:M, the Frankish word for "horn". Displaced native cognate Template:Cog, Template:M, from Template:Cog, from Template:Cog, whence modern Template:M+, itself related to Template:M.
